Employers Agent & Project Management
Starting with the identification of need, brief setting and defining project governance we provide our clients with the full spectrum of Project Management services culminating in the successful delivery and handover of the project(s).
CDM Principal Designer
We can fulfil the role of CDM Principal Designer under the Construction (Design and Management) (CDM) Regulations 2015. Our CDM Principal Designers are full-time, qualified Health & Safety practitioners drawn from a wide range of construction backgrounds. Our service is provided on projects throughout the UK and Europe, across a variety of sectors.
Supply Chain Management
Our involvement and experience through working with breweries, hoteliers, operators, retailers and developers, provide us with the working knowledge of the requirements, restrictions and key drivers of each and a unique insight into the progressively diverse and multifaceted arrangements between the project stakeholders. By encompassing this understanding AFA are able to add substantial value to the process which allows us to offer creative and innovative, value-driven solutions.
Fund Monitoring
Fund monitoring requires a competent surveyor to undertake close control of a lender’s debt finance which will be drawn to fund the construction of an asset. It is the responsibility of that fund monitoring team to consider and manage the risks involved in that loan and advise how best these can be mitigated with real solutions. This will include regular site visits to ensure the project is running to programme and budget and to pick up any issues when they arise and resolve efficiently, informing the lender throughout.
Tenant Representation
Through our varied experience throughout the construction and property sector we currently act for a number of end users as their representatives when negotiating leases and then coordinating the construction and fit out process of their agreed premises.
